Contemporary Remote Residency - Outlandia 2021

2 weeks spent in residence at the off-grid artists hideaway that is Outlandia in Glen Nevis, Scotland.

An opportunity to reflect on how humans and more specifically tourists, in the last 150 years, have viewed and helped shaped the views of this seemingly remote, wild landscape.
A chance to experiment with and develop new methods of printmaking, including transfer printing, cyanotype and making my own printing plates from aluminium.

Above all, the freedom to fail with no one watching, try out the new and find it hard and not like something I made, stick it on the wall and try something else.
